..:: Cloning in Gold, Silver & Crystal ::..

WARNING: When cloning, there is a chance that the Pokemon you are trying to clone will be lost, or your Game data may be corrupted. I am not responsible for anything that may happen during the cloning process.

In GSC, there is a glitch that lets you clone your Pokemon. The clone will be exactly the same as the original Pokemon, stats and all. To clone a Pokemon, follow these steps:

  • Put the Pokemon you wish to clone into your Party.
  • Go to the Pokemon Center and save in front of the PC.
  • Deposit your pokemon in an EMPTY box.
  • Go to switch boxes.
  • As it says "Saving, don't turn off the power....", turn the Gameboy off.
  • Turn your Gameboy back on. If done correctly, the pokemon will be in both your box and your party! Hooray!

This is 100% Verified to work, however can get tricky and takes some skill and getting used to.
